A Colorful Short Drama By Joosje Duk

Joosje Duk (Myna)  is a Dutch actress, filmmaker and recent NYU graduate. She has a supporting role in the feature film 'A Noble Intention' which is currently on NETFLIX. Her short film 'Heavy Feathers' screened at the Orlando & Lone Star Film Festival and won the Top Shorts Prize at the Mzansi Women's Film Festival in South Africa. Joosje's short drama ‘NIGHT’ premieres at the Sarasota Film Festival in April 2017 and plays at the Oscar-qualifying Nashville Film Festival afterwards. Joosje is one of the six feature screenwriting fellows at the NYU Production Lab Development Studio. Joosje loves wearing colorful sweaters and biking in New York City.

Laura Lockwood (Scarlett) has had leads and principal roles in many independent films including the psychological thriller Going Under (Kerry) and the Indian/American romantic comedy hit American Desi (Shiela). She has appeared in numerous plays in New York City, including The Art of Love (Fastina) and the U.S. debut of Harold Pinter's Party Time (Liz). Featured in several national & regional TV commercials, Laura has also enjoyed repeated work on As The World Turns.

Katherine Romans (Elsie) began working and training in Manhattan from a young age in theater, film, and commercial work. Recently Katherine filmed NYU Gallatin Thesis Film Bound. Theater credits include Hamlet (Ophelia), Amphitryon (Alcmena/Night), Ribs (Aoide) and Julius Caesar (Brutus). Katherine has trained at The Barrow Group, The British American Dramatic Academy (BADA), Shakespeare and Company (Lenox, MA) and under the guidance of Fiasco Theater Company members at NYU Gallatin. Katherine was a part of the Apprentice Company at the Williamstown Theater Festival. Katherine is pursuing her Acting MFA at A.C.T. where she is part of the class of 2019.
